How Cupel Studio handles applicant and visitor data. Short version: only what we need, only for as long as we need it.
Founder application (name, email, links, free-text about product, traction, team, and, for Door C, co-founder-matching details including target market, timezone, commitment level, and equity split you'd accept). Investor and partner inquiries (name, firm, email, message). Contact form submissions. Basic page-view analytics. That is the full set.
To evaluate applications, respond to inquiries, and operate the studio. We do not use this data for marketing, advertising, or profiling.
The Cupel Studio operating team, via an internal reviewer console. New submissions appear in that console in real time. We do not sell, share, or syndicate applicant, investor, or contact data. Match briefs submitted through Door C are never shared with a potential counterpart without your written consent.
Application and inquiry data is stored on Supabase (managed Postgres and realtime), operated by Supabase Inc., with data hosted in the US. The site itself is hosted on Cloudflare (edge compute and static assets). Email is sent through our own domain infrastructure. We do not use third-party CRM, marketing-automation, or session-recording tools.
Only strictly-necessary cookies (session and authentication for the reviewer console) and aggregate first-party analytics on page views. No cross-site trackers, no advertising cookies, no fingerprinting.
Applications and match briefs are retained for the duration of the cohort evaluation window and up to twelve months thereafter, then deleted or fully anonymized. Investor and contact inquiries are retained while the relationship is active. Request earlier deletion at any time.
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of the data we hold on you at any time. This applies whether or not GDPR or CCPA covers your jurisdiction; we honor the same rights globally. Email hello@cupel.studio and we will respond within 30 days.
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest through our infrastructure providers. Access to the reviewer console is limited to named studio operators and gated by authentication.
If this policy changes materially, we update the effective date below and note the change on the /writing feed.
